Question: sent my cello to a luthier in gramercy music for a opened rib. when i went home, found cracks near soundpost.?

and the f-hole too, what should i do? The luthier could easily deny that he made the crack.The cello is making "magical" sounds now.
@John M: there was no shipping the luthier is almost next door to me. the problem is that the luthier might deny that the crack was self-inflicted
whoops, he might say that the crack was self-inflicted

Answer: I'm sure you insured the shipment, right? File a claim on the shipping, and they will inquire as to the possibility of damage at the luthier. Be prepared for a battle.
