Question: sent my cello to a luthier in gramercy music for a opened rib. when i went home, found cracks near soundpost.?

and the f-hole too, what should i do? The luthier could easily deny that he made the crack.The cello is making "magical" sounds now.
@John M: there was no shipping the luthier is almost next door to me. the problem is that the luthier might deny that the crack was self-inflicted

Answer: I'm sure you insured the shipment, right? File a claim on the shipping, and they will inquire as to the possibility of damage at the luthier. Be prepared for a battle.

Question: How would an Electric Bass and piano keyboard sound together?

I play keyboard and my boyfriend plays Electric Bass. We were thinking of starting to write music together, just for fun. How would our instruments sound together?

if it's relevant: he likes Metal and i like Punk Rock, so i guess that could give you and idea of what our music will sound like.
yes it's an electric keyboard but i'm not planning on using any of the synth effects on it. if i do it will be rare. i plan to keep it on the Baby Grand Piano setting.

Answer: is it an electric keyboard? if it is. it'll jive great.

here is an example of a band gig which mainly uses the keyboard and bass.
(don't mind the drums.its just for clean music movement)

i suggest that if you'll write music, give the bass a solo part where he could really shine.
